AUBURN, Ala.- The annual State Special Olympics Volleyball Tournament will be held at Wire Road Soccer Complex on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025. Six teams from around the state of Alabama, including a team from Auburn, will compete in a round-robin style event.

The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. with opening ceremonies including the lighting of the Special Olympics Torch, and games will begin around 9:30 a.m. The day will end with an awards ceremony in the afternoon after all games have been played.

This event is free to the public. Patrons are welcome to come and cheer on athletes. Drinks and snacks will be provided along with a photo-banner for athletes to take selfies.
